    I was looking at a 86 328 gts, Is that injected or does it have carbs? Do i want carbs Or do you want FI

    Injected with Bosh K-jetronic mechanical fuel injection.

    Carbs or FI? Depends what you're looking for. Would just guess though you'd be happier with fuel injection. A bit less tinkering.

    All the 328's were fuel injected. If you want carbs you pretty much have to buy a car made before 1980 (although I'm not sure when the 512's went to FI?)
