No. As far as I'm aware, he has stopped claiming that he ever owned the car, so the topic is dead. I don't see a need to push the man any further into a corner than he has already been pushed.

Wayne is a great guy, and he really has been around for a while. Heck, he even quit Ferrari Chat before it became fashionable. Hard to believe it's been almost two years.......

    So long, F-Chat

Been here three years. It looks like we have run out of meaningful topics. time to shut the site down.

Wayne's a good guy as far as I know, but 3 pages of meat helmet jokes?

    Omar, my good friend.

Profile Nazi is right. Yet, your profile seems to lack a certain level of detail when it comes to your name.

I personally don't care one way of the other. We pretty much don't need to know your real name on here, or that of anyone else.

But, if you're gonna play the game, you gotta play it straight. Does your "profile Nazi" postition include the concept of not lying about who you are here? Or, is the nature of Fchat one of freedom to express oneself, and that freedom includes fabrications for whatever reason, in a profile and elsewhere.

Personally, after seeing some of the threatening noises that were made here, I deleted my last name from my profile, and changed my location to a more general description. I busted Dave's (Maranelloman) chops about his name a couple of times, but his point made sense. Why expose yourself here to the possible idiocy that exists in an online community?

And, finally, unless you are some kind of celebrity or expert within the Ferrari community, what difference does it make how much or little of your profile is filled out? Details are only really necessary if we're trying to establish the credibility of what a fellow member is saying.
