    It is one year today since I picked up my first f-car from Auto Salon Singen in Germany, and I just wanted to say THANK YOU to all on the board who

    (a) helped me with the original decision (especially Trevi and Andrea),
    (b) have provided invaluable advice along the way, and
    (c) in particular to all the great people (and cars) I have met in the last year.

    What a year it's been - I am hooked for life!

    In complete contrast, one year ago this week I moved to Kiribati in the Central Pacific and left behind all my material assets and preconceptions of life in the 3rd world.

    What a year that was
