I think F1 Racing quoted his net wealth at USD 285 MM after deducting Willi Weber's 20% fee.... I live thos guys who are already retired at like 35 or so ...
I just realised theres a guy in my town made how much Jay-Z is worth almost by just selling his company.($250 million) Add in all that he has alltogether he's got like Tiger woods money. That's just incredible. The guys got a 360, a F40, a S7, a Bentley Cont GT, a countach, a Diablo, a 355 he got his daughter for her first car, a TR, I think one more Ferrari but I can't recall which one right now, alot of vettes, a Bentley Azure and alot more that I can't remember right now. My towns really small so when he takes one of them out your bound to see one. It's awesome.
"You see basketball player, singer or some celebrity with all their fancy cars, jewelry, swiming pool and mansion and you think, wow, their "rich". "Wealth", is the man who writes their check!" - Chris Rock
Chris Rock is so racist. His rants during his HBO special are getting longer and more tiresome. I actually had two of my black friends try and convince me that there were no wealthy black people in America. The poor us attitude. I said, well what is Oprah? She's worth about a billion. They said, that's not wealthy. I almost laughed in their faces.
A personal favorite of mine (dating back several years) is #12, "Elon Musk". Several years ago he developed a cutting edge way for newspaper publications to take their businesses online. He sold that company for $305 million. He then invested more than half of that money in X.com, which was his way to revolutionize online banking. The name X.com wasn't working out as well as originally planned, therefore the name was changed to Paypal. Paypal was later bought by Ebay and Elon made an even bigger fortune. Not too long ago I heard he was worth in excess of $1.8 billion, which I believed bcz his payday from Paypal had to be enormous. Some of you might have seen the segment CNN did on him a few years back (on their show "CNN Perspectives"). They happened to be there the day he took delivery of his McLaren F1. They showed it rolling off the truck, him driving it around his Silicon Valley neighborhood, etc... It was a gift to himself after his huge payday from selling his first company.
I remember seeing that Elon Musk story. I think the show was an entire hour on Sillicon Valley and young moguls making their mark. Elon was cruising around the valley in this million dollar car. That list is so incredibly inspiring. Jenny Lopez at $255 million? She was in movies for years and then all of a sudden, she's everywhere. Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen worth a 1/4 of a billion dollars by age 18. It makes you wonder what you can do in a year "I'm not talking about rich, I'm talking about wealth. Shaq is rich. The white man that signs his check is wealthy!" -Chris Rock Hahaha.
11 Jeffrey Citron 34 Chairman/CEO/Co-Founder Vonage $346 million Interesting... I had never heard of Vonage until last week, when I bought a VoIP package that uses them for service...
Uhh, not quite. The F1 Racing issue from September 2003 estimated his net worth, after Weber's fee, to be at least $436.07m, with an annual income of $91.78m. Of the $91.78m, $48.95m comes from Ferrari, and $38.24m from endorsements and sponsorship deals. If you add his 2004 income and investment appreciation, he'd be worth well over $500m now. Currency is in Australian Dollars. You can convert the above figures at www.xe.com
35 Sreekanth Ravi 37 Retired $131 million 36 Paul Gauthier 32 Retired $129 million 37 W. Glen Boyd 37 Retired $125 million Big thumbs up for these guys
I know! Imagine being 32 and having already made your nine figures and retired. Isn't American great?! I know Democrats don't want you to know, but everyone in America has the opportunity to be RICH -- filthy stinking rich, if that is your absolute goal. Me, I just want to be affluent -- If I retire with a few million in the bank, some real estate, and a couple of f-cars in the garage, I'll be happy.
Cool website. If you use it, you'll see that Speedy Sam's number in US Dollars is pretty close to yours in Australian, given they are from different sources.
Those numbers must be wrong. Either his pay is much lower than what's stated or he burns money by the truckload. He gets around 60M a year now, right? times that by 4 or 5 then add 5- 20M for another few years he raced, then add the extra money through endorsements and then add interest and investments, he must be worth over 500M at the very least.
I just saw Tiger's numbers. Way off too. He makes 100M per freakin' year... at least! What site did you find these on? And there are a bunch of people that aren't on that list, who should be. Basicly, there are random rich people who were born or live in the US and random numbers beside their names?
Chill out man. Chris Rock is right, I don't care if he is racist or not (which I don't think he is), but what he means is that is Shaq broke his leg, he wouldn't be able to make money. He trades dollars for hours. Oprah is wealthy, she makes a lot of money on things she doesn't even work on. The man who writes Shaq's check... is wealthy because he makes money and he doesn't even have to watch the game. (money working for you)
I think your talking about the $100 M contract with am express that he had, but it was over several years, I don't think hes ever made 100 million in a year
