What do 308's and 328's go for nowadays?

    Lately Ive taken a large interest in the 308's and 328's and hope to own one in the future (5 years). What do they go for? I saw an 86 328 GTS I think it was for 50K USD with 14K miles on it. Is this high, low? Whats the average and best way or place to buy?

    Please educate a new ferrari enthusiast.:)

    Beater 308s start below $20K up to cherry '89 328s with no miles for $70K.

    on avg I would say the break down goes like this. for SELLING price.

    308 gts 25-28k
    308 gtsi 22-28k
    308 QV 33-35k even 40k for a prime example
    328 40k-50k up to 60k for a prime example

    Anything under 20k is gonna need $$$$$$

    Low miles can mean trouble, a better choice would be a higher milage car that has service records. Service records are VITAL to buying one of this cars.
    you can usually get in the ballpark of selling price by takeing the asking and subtracting 10%

    ex.......328 asking 50,000 will probably sell for 45,000

    Not much, but still more than they're worth when you compare their performance to the average Japanese econo-box!

    Don't take Frank too seriously. He can't even change his own oil on his car let alone make knowledgeable comments on 308s.

    I bought an older 328 ('86) for $35k, but that was a particularly good deal and I've put almost $3k in it since taking care of a bit of deferred maintenance on the underside. (The drivetrain was, and is, quite sound.)

    Figure on paying at least $42-45k for a 328 with no significant issues, a bit more for an '89 with ABS. I'd stay away from cars with less than 30k miles, since they haven't been driven enough to avoid problems caused when cars sit for too much of the time. And make sure they've had a major (30k mile) or "semi-major" (45k mile) service within the last couple of years.
