    Dear Freinds,

When I got to Monterey I noticed a loud scratching noise in my steering wheel. It went away on the trip home, I dorve big sur both ways :). I thought it was the contacts for the horn. I removed the wheel and the hub and cannot see anything a miss i do not want to break this priceless headlight stalk/ wiper/ turn signal unit but would like to put some king of grease on the horn spring contact and rotating plastic bezel. I was going to clean off the copper ring and spring and use dielectric grease but was going to ask some of the electric guys what you thought first.

    Hi Rob,
I'm glad to read you've been dring the world's coolest GT4.
I was in Dallas about 6 months ago. While I was visiting Norwood's, James allowed me to stand quietly in their busy shop. Ken, (their lead mech), was rebuilding a PILE of stering stem blinker stalks. I'd give them a call. I'd bet he can help.
    Best of luck.
    Jeff
