But the sound of the 355 beats the sound of the 360 IMO.

This is harder for me to answer than I thought. I've had to 360's a coupe and a spider. but I still like the looks of the 355 jut as much, and I agree the 512TR is the cr that still turns my head (after driving a 512M) it turns it even more. I have already talked to my dealer about the 430 spider and I'm sure I 'll love that too when it gets here. I guess I love em all.

For the longest time I thought the 355 was much nicer than the 360. I did not like the 360 as much. But the more time I see a 360, I like it more and more. And what's strange is that I like the 355 spider better than the Berlinetta but I like the 360 coupe to the spider. I'm usually a spider fan. Maybe at some point in the future I will think the 360 is the nicest.

Kind of nervous as I am looking into buying a 355 next year. Or at least I thought I was.....

For me it changes daily, sometimes several times per day. I love the 355 for it's classic lines, the flying buttress rear, the windsheild rake, the bulging fenders which finally captured what made the 288 so incredible.

Meanwhile I love the 360's extrememly modern lines. The front nose did take a while to get used to, but now I have no problem with it. I still discover lines and angles in the side view, even now 5+ years after it's introduction. The rear is simply as good as it gets (especially the CS). For me the best part is the rear glass and fenders on the Modena which are basically straight off the p3 race car.

The most recent pictures of the 430 (yellow car outside factory) have put it in a new light and it looks very promising, but I can't say for sure till my own eyes get to see it.

To me a Ferrari is a 348 or 355, something with grills on the side. The 360, 430 reminds me of jap cars.

    348 - > 355 - > 430 - > 360

The 355 is beautiful, without question.

To my eyes, however, the 360 is in another league, and the 430 is even better, more aggressive, sharper, harder, but still smooth.

355 is classic, as the matter of fact the LASTclassic design from Pininfarina. The only other car is TR that is in the same league. The 360 & the other later models are too rounded and Jap looking, I still like them but not they are not true Pininfarina Ferrari.

Fact is that I love my 355b, most beautiful car in the world. But, if you are correct, I'm saving my change for a 360. If prices drop enough, my wife won't complain if I have two Ferrari's again! I like the 360.

The 360 is 20 times nicer then the 355!!!!!!!!!!!!!! better car, faster car, more luxurious, looks like a ferrari all the way around the car rather then the 355 that looks like a fiero in the front and then ferrari in the rear! Dont get me wrong i dont dislike the 355 but there just isnt a comparision between the 2

The 355 looks like a Fiero??? Come on...
I think most tifosi will state that the 355 has more of a Ferrari look compared to a 360. I love them both just like many other do, but to say that a 355 does not look like Ferrari... that is BS.

This is true. It is perhaps the most beautiful Ferrari, so aggressive, yet so fluid.

From where do people think companies like Pontiac, Honda et al, take their styling ideas?.........FERRARI. It's no coincidence that other cars, except for Lamborghinis and Porsches, look like Ferraris. They set the standard.

This coming from a guy that modified a 360 with that hideous wing and ugly yellow lights, it sounds like a compliment for the 355.

When you think about it like this.

If they brought out the 355 without badges and asked you what make is it, you could all answer!

If they did the same to the 360 you would have no idea! It looks more of a Jap then a Ferrari.

But now because we know its a ferrari the 430 looks like one two.

    Anyone agree?

Different stroke for different folk, but you must admit the 430 rear end definitely tells you that "hey, i'm Enzo's little brother"

Don't get me wrong, I love the way the 360 looks, I am not yet sold on the 430's looks but I am sure in person it will be awesome. But too have a pin head insult the looks of the 355 is lame, evolution and beauty have always been a part of PF and Ferrari's designs. When the TR came out, I didn't think the 512BB looked worse, just different.

The 355 is THE best looking, sexiest, most Ferrari-styled *production* Ferrari EVER.
The 360 in isolation is FABULOUS. But compared to the 355 it's just a little too clumsy (the front) and a little too tall.
The CS makes all the right efforts to improve on the stock 360.

The 355 is literally perfectly styled. Will there ever be another?

I don't know. I always loved and fell in love with the F355. It is a great looking car. When the 360 first was released I did not like it at all. But I have to admit it has grown on me a lot.

I think new F430 is terrific looking. I would say that right now I would feel the order would be F355, F430, 360. At least until I have a chance to see the F430 in person.
