Well mine is Lara Croft riding naked on the back of the prancing horse, complete with pistol.

Guess I'm either a pervert or a dreamer

Ghost Rider, the comic book hero. Been talking about making a movie for quite a while now. Nicholas Cage wants the role.

Back in the day he was some ghostly looking cowboy, and changed to the more modern motorcycle and flaming skull. Through a "penance stare" he invokes punishment.

It's a shot of the front of my car out on a hill country road, 335 IIRC. Just three of us, heading out into nowhere land. That day, we did 527 miles in 10 hours, which included a few stops for gas, brunch, afternoon lunch (30 min), dinner in Fredericksburg (1hour) and many photo stops.

On the way outside of Fredericksburg just ~7 miles out, we were pulled over, all three of us. We were not going too fast, but still... I guess 90 is fast, but not so in comparison with what we were doing out there. The officer went by each of our cars and said, "license, license, license". There was no eye contact, no communication, nothing at all. He didn't even bother with a flashlight as it had just gotten dark. After waiting for the officer returned, it was about a good 25 minutes later. He came out and gave us no front plate tickets and 88 in a 65 tickets. When he got to Joe, the guy behind me, Joe tried to argue with the officer by saying, "there's no way we could have been going 88." The officer simply responded, "I'm not going to argue with you, we've been looking for you guys since Rock Springs."

From that moment, all the way back to Austin, we pretty much got a police escort. Every 15 miles or so, another DPS officer would pick us up on cue and followed us for a few miles. Then the next one would do the same. They were really looking to get a few more dollars out of us, or else please a complaint from out in the middle of nowhere.

Sure. My avatar, (image 1), was taken from the victory screen from Heroes of Might and Magic (image 2). HOMM was a computer game for Dos made by New World Computing in 1995. The description from Mobygames is

It was a very popular and very good computer game that no one has really successfully copied, though Age of Wonders is similar in idea but not in execution. There are many more modern versions of HOMM available, the sequels being numbers 2-4 and I believe a fifth one in the making.

Though the HOMM avatar was only meant to be a place holder until got a satisfactory image from Total Annihilation to use as my avatar, which I still haven't been able to find or make.

My previous Avatar was The head and arm of a Jaguar taken from the computer game One Must Fall:2097. Basically the only successful 2d fighting game on the computer, which is now freeware and is available for download at many websites. The "sequel" per say is available now and is called One Must Fall: Battlegrounds.

So basically my two avatars were meant more as homage to various classic computer games, and once I get around to being subscriber I'll be switching them every once in awhile to reflect a different classic game. I think once I do subscribe my avatar will probably be the Obelisk from the original Command and Conquer or a Big Bertha from Total Annihilation.

My boy, who is still a huge Ferrari fan, broke his arm at age 3.

What else were we to do with some time to kill, a fresh cast and a box full of Crayola markers?

The car sticker was his final touch.

My avatar is a pic of "Kitty Fishsticks" wearing her radio helmet with which she can beam messages directly into my brain and tell me who needs to be killed and eaten.

You, Sir, have been so kind as to mention my avatars (Particularly Herman Kerry) many times. I have noticed, but didn't reply out of modesty. But, this is a thread about 'em, so let's shout 'em.

First was Modded Speedracer, which I used to run Lambo off the road with many times. Then Jules Winnfield came along and enjoyed a burger. Then Kerrystein was arrested. Then EC Crew went nuts with hand signs, so I showed 'em some WC love. Then Triumph, the greatest insult comic dog in the whole, wide world.

Mine represents the first major concert that I attended. This image was on the back of the Van Halen 1984 tour shirt. I wore mine all thru High School & was seldom seen with out it, it seemed to fit my persona at the time so I stuck with it. I’m not sure what ever happened to that shirt, but I do miss it. Thanks to an F chatter, I got to learn more about my avatar. The image originally was created for Western pest control service in Southern CA, called the “little man” .
