Lake Shore Drive Chicago,IL Box Office: 312-409-1478 This collector car show of restored and custom cars features awards in 22 classes and a finale of a drive down Lake Shore Drive. Sep. 18 8 a.m. - noon noon - 3:30 p.m. 4:15 p.m. 5:30 p.m. $30-$35 for car registration. Free for spectators ############### Anyone going to this show ?? FYI, for those not familiar with the location -- this is one of THE most scenic photo-op places in Chicago. GREAT panoramic views of the lake and the Chicago skyline.
NOPE- I prefer to pay, if the money I pay to participate goes to charities; or at least some of it. Maybe some does at this event, but nothing was mentioned. The Wheeling event is where I'll be!

Hmmm, looks like it's strictly a commercial venture, designed to line the pockets of a few. $35.00 a car is ridiculous, to maybe win a $10.00 trophy......Why??
