I just found out that the A/C compressor on my 82 Mondial is gone. Price for a new one $2,200 (!)
I searched the archives, but did not find any information on a cheaper replacement. I understand that it is a GM model (or similar to it). Anyone know of a cheaper alternative to the 2200 new Ferrari compressor?
    Thanks
    Sam

Go to NAPA or another auto outlet and bring them the compressor . They will give you the YORK replacement. Keep your own clutch and put it on the new unit and install. I bought a NAPA rebuild fo $75 a few years ago. Works fine with 134A in the system.
