To cut a long story short - I'm off to a job-interview in a few days, and will meet my would-be american boss for the second time.

To make the right impression, I will produce some material to show, and I need to make sure that the phrases I've come up with translates well, and don't seem funny or can't be understood.
Context - suggested ads for noise blocking earmuffs (yes!).

    The phrases are:

Think of them as your own personal space in sound

    or

Think of them as your own personal place in sound

I like the first one best. The question is - are they understandable, or do they make no sense at all?

Appreciate any input from all you americans :)

Drop personal. And go with either space or place.
    There.
    Done.
    Good luck.
