I like it looks great I like the mats aswell. Im still in love with the 355 the same way as I seen it back in 94. Just the best looking peace of machinery built.
Thanks guys...I am thrilled with the results. The only original pieces of carbon fiber that came with my car were the trim around the cluster gauges and radio, the F1 paddle shifters, the door sills, the console structure (not all the little sections on the main panel where all the buttons and knobs are). I bought the console panel kit (which included all the sections on the main panel, the speedo/tach section, and the cluster gauges/radio-which I didn't need b/c mine is already carbon fiber-maybe I will put them on ebay or just sell these 2 pieces to someone on Fchat), the handbrake, and the door mirrors covers. My father and I installed them. I purchased them from www.maranelloauto.com I s/w John at 650-520-4822 Very nice guy and was very detailed in explaining the product and how to go about the process. I would, without reservation, recommend them to everyone. Feel free to contact me with any questions at [email protected] With thanks, Todd
I too have a kit coming from John at Maranello for my F355 Spider;door sills;console kit;etc.Great looking and nice fit.
hello i have the carbonfiber door sills on my 355 like that of the fiorano, the carbonfiber piece has a recessed area in the center that holds a silver colored insert with the word ferrari on it. can anyone tell me where to get that silver insert from? thanks.. oh yes i found a spray that will take the sticky goo right off the 355 surfaces. it doesnt damage the plastic under the sticky paint like turpantine and it works 10x better than goo gone. on one website its called "tri-clean" heres a link http://www.worlduph.com/semdye.htm
great post...that Tri-Clean tip will be very helpful to alot of people. Fortunuately my console had very very minimal bubbling yet I saw guys console from Houston that look like it was in a fire. There was a post called 355 Center console bubbling thread in the technical section that would love to know about this product. Best, TTG
