    What are the if any recommendations on lowering the factory coils/shocks is there without affecting the handling? on a 348..

    I want to lower the car a little but would like to know how far I can go before it does damage to the handing,,

    You can go about an inch or so. It's more like how it affects the alignment though. Also think about ground clearance. 348s have like 3 inches of threads below the perch, so theres a lot to play with.

    I recently changed to 355C wheels for my 348SS and had my F-car aligned and corner balanced at Moorespeed in Austin, which required 6 hours of shop time. From that experience, it is clear to me that to "lower" a 348 is a pretty tricky deal and I'd be willing to bet that alignment and corner balancing would be required to maintain proper handling. Just my point of view. Jim
