    My '74 GT4 is now suffering from fairly rapidly progressive rust bubbling in the scuttle, along the bottom edge of the windscreen. I'm thinking this will involve removing the screen and cutting out/replacing the scuttle to sort out properly.

    Anyone have any thoughts or experience of this?

    Proper repair will for sure involve the removal of the windshield. I recommend doing this repair sooner rather than later as the rust can pressure the glass and crack it (a very expensive extra cost). Once the glass is out, the repair should be fairly straightforward with no special 'Ferrari' tricks to look out for.
