02 360 Spider... 2k when we bought it in late May, now it has about 7k... :D

Love the car but just had to send it off for service because it can barely run. Backfires, can't hold idle, etc... :(

Actually Dr. Tommy, I would hazard a guess that most all the early 80's cars that came with the 85mph mandated speedometer just had the gauge face replaced or modified...not the entire gauge replaced. I have seen several cars done by Palo Alto Speedometer, and they were indistinguishable from the original 180mph ones (they specialize in gauge restoration). It has been discussed so many times on the ferrarilist and here that I am more surprised when I see an original one!

Actually I was just idling on the side of the road (specifically on the long entrance parkway at Barber Motorsports Track)trying to get my camera to work in the low light. That's a normal temp - just a tick to the right of straight down - if I sit without moving for a little while.

I turned over 10K on my Stradale in its first 4 months!
We'll see if I can make 20K in its first year... it'll be tough, but someone has to try!

There have been some past threads asking similar questions, like:

How many miles do you have?

What is the Most Miles You Have Seen on a F-car?

and then if you want to see how those miles break out:

Poll: Where do most of your miles come from?

Oh, and a few asked the question model-specific, like:

    Most Miles On A 360?

Who has the highest miles on a 355?

and some have asked specific to a Ferrari part, like:

How many miles have you gotten from an F-1 clutch?

Amazing the stuff you can find here on Fchat! ;)

1967 330 GTC - approximately 170,000 miles. Yes, it's a daily driver. It would be close to 200,000 but it spent a few years in storage when I (temporarily) lost interest. I will rebuild the engine when it tops 200,000. Possible have it converted to a GTS.

Go Brad! - putting those miles on in a hurry - great to see!

amenasce, Thanks for the compliment on colors.

Chiaro_Slag, Believe it or not, I don't have that many pictures of the TR, because I'm usually in the driver's seat, but there are a few in the NY forum from our drives.

My '86 328 GTS has 230,000 KM which equates to 142,000 miles. Original engine - oil is so clean you can use it for suntaning! LOL

Perfect condition inside and out and previous owner maintained it as if it was his only child.

    Unbelievable car!

That's great! Just curious -- in view of the mileage, are you deliberately gentle with it or do you show no mercy??

Isn't it a shame that there is such a mileage stigma among buyers. On 328s the break point of high demand seems to be in the mid 20K range. Even on 308s the 35-40K range seems to be a turnoff for some. That's fewer than 2,000 miles per year!
