I love the Postal Service-- try listening to them while you're sleeping, you'll have the most insane dreams...

I'm also a Postal Service fan. As soon as I heard it I downloaded like 16 of their songs and listened to them for weeks!

I've had Shapeshifters - Lola's Theme in my head since I first heard it 2 weeks ago. Think 70's funk anthem meets eurodance.

"My Life to Live" Lars & the Bastards (+ Tim and Matt from Rancid)

Great song, wicked mandolin work from Matt, plus the classic line: "I've done every hooker from here to Toledo"

Because it dawned on me earlier that my fiancee's son is unwittingly* playing guitar like Gabor Szabo when practicing.

*Especially since he's never heard him. *Hits Eject* Funny thing is, he came out of his room to see what I was listening to. CD has been passed on to him. He's interested.

Awesome, I was just there doing the same thing! Did you listen to all of those classical chamber groups in front of the cafes?

Maroon 5 is a fave. I saw them open for Cowboy Mouth in Houston in February of '03 for $10 when they were just breaking out. By September, Harder to Breathe was blaring on the Indy soundsystem as the F1 cars were reforming on the grid for the USGP start. This song now has deep sentimental value.

...And Marvin Gaye/Big Tymers are alternating in the playlist.

Download "Dance with the devil" by Immortal Technique

Extreamly disturbing story renditioned by the artist. My girlfriend couldn't listen to the last 2 minutes of it....

The 'ol XM Radio says I'm listening to Royksopp - So Easy. Never heard of them, but it doesn't seem too bad.

Switching to Frank's Place, ahh. Ella Fitzgerald - I Didn't Know About You

I dig a couple of Postal Service songs, but my prob. with Postal Service/Death Cab is that the lyrics are a little too wordy.
