How does it compare to the spec sheet? Isn't it supposed to weigh a bit over 2800 lbs?

    Maybe on an Italian scale...

Around 3100 lbs. with a full tank of fuel. It does have a very large fuel tank however.

A bit over 2800 lbs could be the number for the Euro version with lexon windows. There are some reinforcement in US spec. cars that go into the doors and bumpers that could add weight. Few more lbs for the radio and speakers...

Marketing lit says 2822#... but I think that's only to a country that doesn't require any cats.

In some European countries, the Stradale manual says 2844#... I suspect that 22# is the added cats. However, it weighs in at about 2900# with minimal options... 3086# with mucho options... and one mag had it at 3150#. See this thread.

In the US, the Stradale manual says 2998# or 3000# (I forget which). However, it weighs in about 3086# with a fire extinguisher, if I remember right. I still haven't managed to weigh mine... keep thinking I'll run into someone with scales rather than having to hunt some down.

Why do US Stradales weigh 154# more than Euro Stradales?? Good question... for that discussion, see this thread.
