If anyone speaks German, I would really appreciate if you could translate the following two sentances. I am in an advertising class, and found an ad for BMW, however it is in German. I thought it would be cool to keep the german add, but I need to know what it says!

"Sie glauben, ihn zu berühren. Aber es ist umgekehrt.......Bauchkribbein beginnt in den augen."

    Help would be greatly appreaciated.

    Thanks!

Keep in mind that many statements, when translated from another language, will make no sense whatsoever.

Seeing as your looking at an add your probably reading a metaphorical statement which will not translate correctly if attempted literally.

From the little I learned, sentence structure is basically the reverse of English. The verbs and adjectives are spoken first before the subject if I am not mistaken. (it's been 30 years)

"You think to touch it. But it's the reverse.....the tingling in the stomach starts in the eyes."

or something like that....hint for the next time: ask for help in the european section, not many of us visit the OT sections.

What I get out of your translation is in essence; "You want to touch it but the sensations you feel start with the vision you see."
