i've been in S.E asia for almost a month now for biz...and after a month where my main modes of transportation are motorbikes, beat up taxis, donkeys, and water buffaloes, i'd give my left @#$% to sit in an f-cars right now....

as to the question, the answer is a resounding yes!!!! sharing is most of fun. all of my exotic car enjoyment primarily derives from others.

Good point! I have gotten a bit more selective with my CS's alcantara seats than I was with leather seats. If you show up on a hot day in a tank top... or in anything dripping with sweat... you're probably not going to get a ride! ;)

Sure, although I'm not sure why a Ferrari owner would want to ride in a C4 Corvette with 205,000 miles on it.

Just out of curiosity, I don't suppose anyone in this thread would want to give a ride to an 18 year old me, would they?

I would def give a ride to any f-Chatter. If we gave more rides.... there would certainly be more owners!

It was 2 board members that made me finally pull the trigger and never look back: Jens Haller (RIP) and Pizzadude (who even made sure my driveway
    was "ferari compatible")

Any F-50 owners? I'd fly almost anywhere for a ride :)

If I had a a Fcar I would do nothing but give rides all day. I mean I want one to just drive all day, might as well have some one new with me enjoying it with me. I once dated a girl whos dad had and yellow F355 spyder in Scotsdale, Az and I went out there with them from Oklahoma for a weekend. First thing we did was go and pick his F-car up at the dealer and went for a drive. He let me put a 80 miles on it in the desert. This man had never let anyone drive his car before, they just just pulled over and asked if I wanted to drive. I DID!! I thought I did a good job, never stalled it. I loved the gated shifter. I will never forget that man. He fulfilled one of my life long dreams. next step to known one. Anyone in the North East part of Oklahoma ever want to give me a ride, I'll fill your tank and buy you lunch. If you want a ride in a clean looking modded 02 WRX Im fare game.

One of the most enjoyable thing to do with these cars is to give people a chance to expierence what all the fuss is about. I give rides all the time in my cars but NOTHING is better than giving a ride in an airplane at last count I was at 300+ people in my airplanes!

I would happily offer an airplane ride to any F-chatters as well!

That is so hilarious, and believable!!!

Again, ya gotta love these guys. I know some may wonder why I ask this question, but as I alluded to earlier, it's easy for me to offer to give rides compared to someone in California. We ALL have been there, and we don't want to overwhelm the nice guys in popular places, so I thought it'd be a good question.

I can offer this (to a few) that if you come to Winnipeg in winter I will take you snowmobiling like you've never gone before. We got trails here that make you feel like you're driving F1, seriously. The only downside is when you get back home you're driving experience will feel like slow-motion. Snowmobiling is 10 times as hectic. Whenever I do a "bit of a manoeuvre" in my car and my passenger get's uneasy I usually say something like "Have you got any idea how easy this is compared to snowmobiling? This is nothing."

Meanwhile, I want a ride in ALL YOUR CARS! I'm gonna drive across your country and one-by-one visit you all. Then I'll post the results on this forum. (Sheesh, this sounds like such a good idea I may just do it!?! I've got holiday time. November....hmmmmm)

So far MY wish list (as I have a 328) is a TR, a 360, a 575 (hey Mr. Vegas?) and I must visit a 348 as I was thiiiiiiiis close to getting one instead of my 328. An F40 would be the ultimate to me, but I must be dreaming.......am I?

    Thanks!
    Wes

I have and I would any time. Track events are much more fun than just a cruise along the roads, so anyone wanting a track ride PM me for the schedule. Not many events left in the northeast at this time of year, but anyone is welcome.

I'm still waiting for the chance to make Carbon McCoy really really nauseous.

I would let every single f-chatter in my f-car if I had one... Making people happy makes me happy. F-chatters have been very kind people to me, I've met most of the Arizona members sauve AlexPapas and Beast. Ingenere has taken me out in his TR and 348... Those have been the best times in my life... It was awesome. Anyone with an F40 want to take me out for a spin....?

    Going beyond the ride...

I have to give special thanks to Henry Tran(HTRAN). He has thrown me the keys to most every car he owns. Driving Ferrari cars is the ultimate experience, that you cannot put into words. Since driving different Ferrari's, I have formed different opinions about their handling characteristics. Each Ferrari series is its own animal, almost as though its serves its own purpose in the arena of sports cars. Literally, stepping out of drivers seat of a 512m and into a 355 is a COMPLETELY different experience. The 512m is a powerful brute, the 355 is nimble and going to a Lotus Elise is like a street legal zippy cart that corners on the heels of the Enzo. It's not at all to say that the "ride" is anything less, my fist ride in the M was in the passenger seat. I could feel the power. Driving it just enhanced the excitement. When I get my car, I will do the same. Sharing the experience of giving rides and drives puts a huge smile on everybody's face. Ferrari's are the envy the world over, sharing it gives enthusiasts a chance to experience a car that they normally would not have access to! :)

Michelle, did you ever get that XJ220?
*ahem*, could I please have a ride? :D
