Be still my beating heart! A C2 with triennial roundel. A hemi, big drum brakes, Halibrands, and a stout frame. We miss you Briggs.

    Thanks for sharing Jim,

It was a great show. Westport, Conn. There was a Blower Bentley that was the finest I've ever seen.

I saw you driving north on the 87 about 30-45 minutes from the Tappan Zee Bridge Friday on the way home from school- picked up my phone to call you but the numbers were deleted... The Daytona looks amazing, especially in traffic.

James, great shots, wish I could make it!

Looks like a cool, eclectic mix of cars. I like how they placed them, wonder if it was completely random.

I think that the only car that did not get away under its own power was the 2004 Zagato limited series (99) Aston Martin. It blew a hose on the way to the show.

    Sfumato,

I'm pretty sure the Dave L. car (the blue one pictured) is a full Super America, not a 250. He also has a Superfast and as far as I know it has 5 liters.

That was the best part of this show simply people who like ALL types of great cars getting together. The Kino Twins who own the Blue BBLM spent the entire day letting kids sit in their racer and take pic's. The owners were all there and happy to answer questions and the owners are all people who use their cars. Richard has taken his Boano to the MM many times, Paul has raced his GTO has all over the world and all of us and many others including Gary drove our cars up and back home. On the way up I caught a bit of air on a particulary nasty construction bump on I 95 scraping the under skirt.
Sal had a look and said: "Drive it up to the shop next Sat. and we'll pound it out and touch it up. You launched the rear end upwards at least two feet but I was glad to see you kept it between the lines when you landed."

Yes, that is right, I was thinking about a nearly identical carseen @ Monterey, which I seem to recall was a 250. I of course couldn't remember the SN anymore, and I wasn't sure if dave still had his, or if the SF had relocated. Anyone know this SN?
