Any chance you might be going Steve. Know you said before it was too far for the 512 - is she fixed? Who is definitely going? Cheers Kevan See you down the road - with huge grins on both our faces
glad you are going mate i was going to make the effort but if you phone me when you are going out on the track i well sit in the back garden here in yorkshire and listen to your CAPRISTO screeming round the track i bet thet fchatter TUBI books a holiday nexy week or goes to the doctors as he does not sound not very well
Will be popping around for a bit to spectate and see what lap times you lot can manage.. best I could do was 61 sec's (timed from video footage) during a very full session with some of the formula woman drivers practicing for the final that weekend at Brands.
2KG Fire extinguisher (securely fixed - under seat or in boot) wheres best place to get one of these?
They aren't listed in their online accessory shop. Can't see any reason why they wouldn't post you one though
Do you think if I decide on teh day I want to play, could I sign up there or are they restricting entries. Also whats the formal, open pit lane ? timed sessions? or free for all? Paddock hill is great, get the line right and drift onto the kerb, Druids is a tight one though and the rear end wants to come around if you get on the gas to early.
I'm not sure if you could sign up on the day - i guess if they were short of numbers, they would let you in. I would check with the FOC direct & ask them the question - i know they were short for the last track-day at Silverstone but ended up with a 100 cars - i think the weather forecast helped swell the numbers! I'm gonna wait until friday to book & check the long-range forecast for BH on the BBC website - usually a fairly accurate indicator. As for the format, its usually split into three groups of half-hour each, beginners/intermediate/experienced - intermediate tends to get oversubscribed so if you have track experience, you might get lumped into the experienced group - which is fine but features various race/challenge cars & some very fast drivers indeed!! Hope to see you (& the others) there! Cheers Paul
There are a limited number of places, but if they are not fully booked you can turn up on the day with cash in hand (if you are not an FOC member you will need to join as well, of course). Cars are split into three groups depending on the drivers' experience. Best thing is to call the FOC office on 01485 544 500 for info. There are instructors on hand etc.
Roger at KHPC, who are sponsoring this, confirmed that you can pay on the day. Last time I spoke to him (20th September) there were around 60 people signed up for this.
That's what they all say. Still, well done for making the decision to take your car on the track. What made you change your mind?
