whats your definition of good supporter? that is supports php and mysql, that they are reliable ( uptime ) or bang for the buck ( # of mysql db in account )... there are a lot of cheap, good, reliable hosts out there...

do you need the size like ferrarichat? I doubt it, at least for a while. you can start off with a shared/virtual drive over at www.go-dedicated.com for starters. if you need something like ferrarichat, then you will spend several hundred to thousand bucks a month on a dedicated box.

unless you KNOW you will have that much traffic with a product that pays for that bandwidth, don't overblow and overestimate the needs of your site. most sites require less than 5 MB in size. it just really depends what you are looking to display.

    I use 1@1 (www.oneandone.com - I think).

    Web sites are fast, reliable.

Their mail server is a POS. Use another mail provider..

They have ASP pages and stuff as well.

I have a handful of sites on 1and1.com as well. reliable? for the most part. just not too customizable/configurable. I believe what he is looking for is something with CPanel with built in apps to work with.

    I use myself. http://www.dreamns.com/

We're primarily business outsourced datacenter and hosting, but what do you need to do?

We use the H-sphere control pannel system that gives clients access to *everything* and the kitchen sink.
