Here are some pictures of the Testarossa Spider I just finished for a car show this week-end......This particular model is made up of about 3500 aftermarket parts besides the stock kit, including a full metal engine block, fully carpeted and leathered interior, etc......Enjoy the pics!!

That is the most ridiculous waste of time and money I have ever seen!

    I LOVE IT!!!!

It is hard to tell it isn't a real car. Give proper photo techniques with a back ground you could make it appear as if it is a real car. I can't get over the detail.

    Great Job!

That is by far THE NICEST Pocher Testarossa I have ever seen. I wish I could see it in person. I am sure you will win many awards with that one.... Question: How many hours did it take you to assemble?

Thank you everyone for the nice comments, I am very flattered, I guess the 200+ hours of labor are finally paying off!!
I will take more photos of the car when on display at the Italian Car day show this week-end in Duluth, GA....I am sure the daylight will give it more realism.....
Asking price? Although it isn't for sale, I guess I would probably let it go at the right price, but this is not your everyday diecast ;)
To compare it the 1/18 scale, it is 22" long, and weighs about 14 lbs.....

Stephane, that is truly gorgeous. The small compressed photos dont do it justice. Please take some hi-res pix and post em on a dedicated site like photobucket (its free and there's no size limit).

    Good luck this weekend!

What a great model, it is one of the most detailed I have ever seen. 200 hours what a labor of love. Love to see some pictures with a nice background, I bet you wouldn't be able to tell it from a real one. Great job.

Your model looks great. I built the stock kit. I noticed that your rear lid does not sit all the way down. Mine sits up also and it has always bothered me. It seems to be the air intake that holds it up. Sorry to nit pick.

Well if I ever get around to building my kits your car is an awesome example to follow. I must say since mine will not have the 3500+ pieces as yours did I never will be able to match your car. Do you need a new project? I have over a thousand kits from the fifties on up. I need to go to an apprenticeship first looks like. Probably why I have the kits and I havn't built any yet. Great job!!!!!!!!!

    f360racer,
Let me know if you are willing to part with any of your Pocher kits. My preference would be as untouched as possible (of course!!).

If you are interested in converting kits for cash, let me know whatchya got and how many doleros. Mayhap we can make a deal....

    Gratze

p.s. You are quite right in saying that Stephane has definitely set the gold standard of Pocher building... If only someday....
