just read in a German car magazine: F430 F1 base price 152.500 Euro.

    (360 F1 was something about 136.200)

I guessed $185K for an F1 coupe a few months ago on this board. Looks like I wasn't far off!

However, I think the Dollar will sink even more relative to the Euro so the US price will be even higher by the time deliveries start. Maybe 200K for a reasonably optioned F1 coupe...

Not to mention the gas guzzler tax and the luxury tax that will be added. I'm expecting to have to spend about $210 when it's all said and done.

Then why did the sticker on the Enzo I saw a few weeks back have it listed?
    It was a few grand....

That was a gas guzzler tax not luxury tax, all Ferrari's have it.

A Ferrari salesman just told me yesterday to expect anything from $190,000 to $195,000 for a base price car.

Add to all this the fact that more than one dealer has sworn not to accept order for new 430 from people who have not purchased a new one from them before, and you'll understand why prices for 355/360 are NOT going to tank like many are predicting.

Not so "entry level" any more...

360 prices will jump up when 430 deliveries begin, just like 355 prices did when the 360 was released.

If your willing to wait a three years. Until then, I believe most will pay 25-40K over MSRP.

    Right. More like "exit level"!

At these prices, you might as well buy a Murcie and have something really exotic and exclusive...

Not quite. It is right up there with the Gallardo. The Merci is approximately another 100K/30% increase in price.

Add some stuff and the price will be way above the Gallardo. Definetely Murci territory. Or 575, if you like... :(

The $190k+ is Stradale MSRP territory. Given the advances in the 430 (compare the 430 with the Stradale), this isn't unreasonable. I don't like it, but it's ballpark.

Autoweek reported 300 430s per year. I'm assuming that means the number for the NA market. If that's really true, the street price will be outrageous (250-300K?) and 360 owners will be smiling.

In the uk the "latest model" syndrome affects residuals greatly.

The 360 prices will definately fall with the arrival of the 430.

Theres also competition from the DB9, Gallardo, 997 turbo, AMV8, Bentley etc.

The price spread here on the 360 is huge. You have main dealers asking close to list for 1 year old cars. But they are not paying anywhere close to that to sellers. And private sellers, well lets not go there. If your in the market for a 360 this is a good time.
