Check out pages 2 & 4 of this thread. Those are pictures of the 'rough draft'.

The final ones are better quality ... slightly thicker plastic and also they're 'silk screened'.

If you want one let me know .. I ordered 27 and have 2 spares left. Are you sure the holes are in the exact same place?
    Regards,

    Pete

I picked them up tonight ...

Resolution is brilliant .. can't tell the difference between the printing and the OEM.

But ........... there is a problem ... you can see the illumination. The guy told me when he received them (he outsourced the deal to a silk screener) that they (silkscreen people) were aware that they may not be opague enough and would reworkthem.

Back to the drawing board. I'm taking them back tomorrow and will ask for a rush (very rush) job.

Well worth the wait...resolution looks good...glad you checked how they light up before sending them out. Thanks.

Did not mean to press you for time. I'm doing a show next month and was debating if should do it before or after the event. I'm going to do everything including repainting vents, door handles, etc. Will do the dash after the show.

On a related topic - Dealer replaced my air bag cover a few weeks ago -rest of top dash is OK but has minor cracking, like old skin. Tried leatherique crack filler with dye. Excellent! I would suggest doing this first before pulling the dash.

    Thanks Again Pete

Depending on quality, we may be up to the 50 mark .. so there'll be a reduced price.

The silk screener is making a double pass of 'black' .. I should have their latest offering by Thursday.

    Regards,

    Pete

Been following this thread for a while now, and would love to see what the final product looks like installed next to the original equipment, and how well it matches the other OE components.

My 355 console is starting to bubble ever so slightly and the time is near to replace and several friends' cars are already bubbling - get a good match, and you'll get many more orders, but to order sight unseen is a little difficult for me.

    Looking forward to seeing pictures.
    Thanks,
    David

No, it's not too late. The printer guy actually ordered 50 .. and with the current problem the whole deal is back with him. I get a new effort on Thursday.

    Regards,

I've attached the latest print .. not sure what it looks like .. I'm a lousy photographer. The resolution is as good as the OEM .. trouble is the ink is not opague enough. I should have another effort on Thursday. It's plastic, and as thick as a good quality playing card.

    Peter,
I'll trust your judgement based upon the manner in which you've taken on this assignment. Put me down for one - post the price plus shipping and I'll get you a check ASAP...

Thank you for your efforts (for all of us)...

    Afternoon ...

The current price is $49 ... includes a penny for shipping! The price may go down ~ $10 however because we may have reached the 50 mark where we get a good price break. Send the $49 ... and if we get the break .. I'll send the bit plus a refund check.

The color of this photo. is terrible .. it looks grainy and grey. I'll try again tonight to prevent any fears.

We're up to 50 so expect a refund!

I'm away for a week so hopefully the new effort will be here when i return. New price should be ~ $40 .. can't remember exactly.

Pete - I ordered 2 and you can keep my "refund". You did a lot of work on this project and I prefer to keep everything simple. Call it "shipping and handling" - :)

$49 ea is a dirt cheap bargain compared to the alternatives...
