I'll be attending the Alabama Fall Foliage drive but was thinking something more suited for the Atlanta group would be a good idea as well.

Within the next few weeks, who'd be interested in trying to get a group together to head up north?

I'm itching for one, weather will be cool and crisp and the leaves will be turning their fall colors; good time for a drive :)

You thinking about another day trip like the last one? Or something longer with an overnight stay?

I'd be interested in the first but I'm doubtful about the second.

At least the 328 won't have to be bump-started this time!

C2, wish I could make it. I've already booked an airplane to go flying tomorrow morning, weather permitting.

Jpern, I was thinking something about like the last time, usually works out pretty good; minus the push starts, hehe.

I would love to do a sunday drive.. Wolf Mountain Winery is very interested in having us for brunch on any Sunday morning... we could meet at FOA and go north!

Any interest please let me konw... I think timing would be better in November, when its cooler.

    Tspiro,

That sounds like a plan. I agree, November would probably be the best weather. I'm up for a drive whenever though, so any Sunday is good for me through this October. I attended the Winery exotic/classic car show this summer with a few other Fchatters and it was a lot of fun, very nice countryside.

The "Vineyard Luncheon Buffet" is every Sunday (except as noted below) from 12:00 to 3:00 and is $25; advance reservations are required.

But there are monthly special events that ought to be considered. On October 24, the buffet is part of an "End-of-Harvest Celebration" with bluegrass music. Time is the same; cost is $30.

And on November 21, they are having a "Wild Game, Mushroom & Red Wine Festival". Time is the same; cost is $35.

Does anyone have any interest in attending either of these events, or is the "basic" buffet satisfactory?
