Hi Lung, congrats on your new car. I've just met Steve during my reservist, he's my CO! Can't wait to see your car, heard you've almost had it restored inside out? Let's find sometime to go for a drive/drink, if I can find some time.... Do you have a tubi on? I'm thinking of one or a Capristo/Ansa sport but got to sell my speakers to get one. Do you know if there's any local boys who can customise a good exhaust for less?
Yup I had the car go thru a major nip, tuck, liposuction, botox inside/out, etc. Its now looking hot again. Steve would not recognize her. Engine has been serviced and re-tuned. Suspension has been fixed too - it had a bad actuator on the front left. Its rides better now...but I am still not 100% happy w the suspension. Still alittle soft on turns. I will change the shocks and bushings in Dec when I go on vacation. Its got a tubi in it already -but its full of carbon...so i need to take it for a run to blow it all out. The full exhaust note is not coming thru yet. Personally, I would go with Tubi. I have had 3 cars fitted with a tubi and am 100% satisfied. I have not heard Capristo or Ansa exhausts, but have heard Borla...didn't do anything for me. What speakers do u have? Wilson? of SF?
Wow that's a lot of $ spent but I'm sure you're happy with it. My parts just arrived & I'm sending mine for some work with the technician & get some tuning done as well. Borla? Never heard of that but I'll do some search on it. I heard the boys @ HongSeh can fit Tubi @ reasonable price? I've got Wilson, almost traded it for a pair of Extrema last weekend. Still thinking but I hardly have time for them & reckon the exhaust is more tuneful for my ears! Errh, anyone wants my 2yrs old Audio Research tube amps that's not even run-in? Steve is eyeing his friend's 360 with only 5000kms!
I found out this Singaporean's blog. It mentioned that the second storey in Hong Seh's showroom is the Hong Seh's boss' own private showroom that includes a McLaren F1. Wow, a McLaren F1 in Singapore! Is that true, lung, SFchallenge and other owners? Which showroom is here referring to, the present one in Jurong or the city showroom which had just closed down? Fred, Actually its more a warehouse than a showroom. They store their cars that have been deregistered there. I know that there is a BMW Alpina, Jaguar XJ220, SL500AMG (left hand drive), etc. The warehouse is located above the workshop in Jurong.
hello guys, too sad I just found this forum after my 2 week visit to s'pore, i was there from sep, 15th to oct 3rd, working at AMK Seagate, i am from Mexico and it was my second visit to you country, and i have to said that I just loved it, your food, people, very "fine" city at all.... I saw 4 ferraris while i was there, I stayed at the Swissotel and I saw 2 or 3 times a red ferrari, dunno exactly the model, I also saw there a beautiful yellow 360, both were parked just outside the main lobby. The other two I saw were parked outside shangri-la hotel, one was grey and 2nd one was red, 360 I believe, i am not very good with ferrari models, I just know they are extremely beautiful ! ! !, I also saw 1 black diablo on orchard road, I even take video of it going just in front of me, beautiful engine sound.... Well, I hope to be in your country again, maybe in feb-march next year, hope I can meet some of you ! ! ! Regards from Mexico ! ! !
