    It is a rare Series 1 250GT so it can't have been made in 1961. The whole thing smells of a scam.

    My mistake: It isn’t a series I PF, it is much rarer! The car is an all alloy body 250 SWB California Spyder. $56,000? Because of a sick wife? The entire extended family would have to have acute galloping tit rot before anyone flogged it off at that price.

    i guess the pictured car is not a series 1 cabriolet but a series 2 (2157GT) that was rebodied to a california spider and offered 2003 for € 342.000,--.
    anything else is nonsense.
