Did anyone else have problems in the last 10-15min
It's just a glitch in the new software im guessing, i am sure Rob will sort it out soon, we will just have to be patient while it is sorted.
For me I know the site was down from 9:45am to 11:00am. Can't say if it was down earlier or later. All times are Pacific Time Zone.
Hey Rob, Thanks for a having a great site that costs next to nothing (nothing for most) and is up 99.98% of the time. I'm sure the upgrades are for the betterment of everyone out here and will be worth the insignificant downtime.
Rob is currently unable to log into the site. It seems like everything is okay at the moment. I ran a check & repair of the dbase tables and it reported everything was okay. I'm sneaking this check in between patient visits, but I'll try to keep an eye out the rest of the afternoon. Jennie
RobsWife? geez louise - you don't beat that boy enough, Jennie! you guys are all having a long conversation about the site being down for 10 minutes? might i suggest you hit the local mall and purchase lives? doody.
We upgraded the software version last night, not a big deal and probably not related very much to the outages today. After the upgrade last night I tested everything out and looked OK. I logged in before work this morning and looked like the site ran all night OK. I did notice it bounced about 30 minutes before I logged in this morning. At work I started getting the calls that either the site was down or it was giving Db errors. I can see if the site is up or not, I can submit tickets to the host, but I have no access to do anything myself. Thus it takes a little longer depending on the techs and walking other people through stuff. I appreciate the help of Brian Stradale, MarkPDX, and Jennie or it wouldn't have been back up by 1:30pm CST. Cross your fingers, but I'm hoping it's just a matter of the Db server needing to be refreshed after the upgrade last night. The Db server had been up a constant 60 days beforehand. Everything seems to be working now and the Db looks perfect. It will take a few more days to determine if this is behind us or if we have a reoccurring issue that needs a permanent fix. I really apologize for the outage, but one of the downfalls of me having a 7 to 4 job. The moderators, techs, Jennie, and I do the best we can to work around this limitation to keep everything functioning at your expected level. Hey, more reason to support sponsors and subscriptions. At some point I could be yours 24-7 and not 16-5/24-2.
It's hard to see in the following chart because the off site backup throws the scale way off. However, you can see that in the past 32 hours we've had a total of 3.5 hours of downtime. It has been awhile since we had outages more than an hour. To be honest, I make the server go down a few times a year so everyone is more appreciative.
