Thinking of getting some spacers for the 355. Looking at H&R or Hill Engineering. Are there any negatives with using spacers? I'm getting it purely for asthetics, I couldn't find any aftermarket wheels that look better than the stockers but would like the wheels to fill up the fender wells. Any opinions? Thanks!

I have H&R Spacers (15mm) on the rear of my 993 for the same purpose. Looks great and hasn't had an adverse effects. Just make sure that you don't go too far out or you'll get possible fender rub. Looking forward to seeing how it looks...

I had them on my 355 - looked fantastic - really filled the arches - gave the car a much more agressive stance.

Can't say I noticed any obvious difference in handling (not form the spacers but a week earlier I had the iding springs fitted to lower the car and they dramtaically imporved its track characteristics)

I got mine form Hill Engineering - very well made - remember to get the extend wheel bolts too.

What is the maximum size you recommend on the spacers? I just want to go as far out as possible with rubbing on the front and rear.

Also, do you recommend the regular spacers with longer bolts / or the hubcentric spacers the use existing bolts?

I've wanted to get spacers for a while for the same reasons as well. If you get and install them, please post pictures and any other important information.

    Thanks.

I have them on my 355 spider.

    15 MM Front

    30 MM Rear

No rubbing or "side effect". The car does have a bit more tendency to understeer.

The look is well worth the price!

not sure what other info you want - 15mm fr 25mm rr - no understear (prob. more to do with the iding spings fitted) they went on in five mins - longer bolts were needed, straightforward fit.

    Visual diff. amazing

Mario - do you remember where you got your spacers from? Can't find 30's.
    Thanks
