Thanks K.Theera to organize the event! Thanks Sonny for praise(IMO mine is just on par with yours)! Thanks George for nice pix! And Thanks all of you guys to make it happened! See you again soon (in a month, right K.Theera?)!!!
May I suggest that the next sprinter we should take a less traffics road, like the Toll way then Chonburi bypass to Pattaya... And If, only if we can meet a little earlier at any place with coffee available, that would also be very niceeee.....
Most welcome K. Nok, it's just a joy seeing so many people sharing the same interest, that's driving their cars rather than keeping them at home. See you next month.
From my experience many Sprinters can't get up on time to get to the meeting point early in the morning, hence the 10am start. It's agreed that having some coffee is a good idea, unfortunately finding a place that has decent parking and serves good coffee is not that easy. There is also many Sprinters that don't want to create a "motor show" for the general public out of the occasion, hence being at a place that is low profile is important. For example, there was a Sprint last year that I rather forget, it commenced at All Seasons Place. For those Sprinters that were there can remember the problems that we had with the public and press that turned up to see the F-cars parked in front of the fountain. The route that you mentioned is a good suggestion, most would agree.
May I advise that my cousin will open a coffee shop on Thonglor5 (opposite side of Starbuck at Marketplace). We expect the shop will be ready at end of Nov. There is quite a large parking space which enough for 20-25 cars. Actually it is my office's parking lot, but my office is closed on Sat. &Sun. If you guys need a low profile meeting point with good coffee, I can ask my cousin to arrange a private party for sprinters. Thanks to all sprinters for a very warm welcomes for newbies like me, err (black 512TR) and P Fiat (G-car); especially K. Buung. Also thanks to my friend ,err, for free ride&lunch. Last but not least P Pom Mondial T that allowing me to drive this very firm pony ahead to Bangkok. Is it a brand new car?
We own a restaurant between Sathorn and Silom (Kalpapruek), with enough parking space for all the sprinters (if it's before 10.30). Coffee, snacks, cakes can be served. The Satorn expressway is just around the corner. So you're all welcomed. By the way, I'm the one with the Ghibli.
Thanks you for being my driver too. After a great lunch I was really sleeply !!!! Thanks God for sending me best driver.
No, it's never too late to join the next Sprint K. Jesada. Let us have your mobile number so an sms could be sent to you prior to the next Sprint, please also keep an eye on this thread for information. Nice hearing from you.
Ahh....P'Pom krub, don't fall asleep while Okumi is driving!!! Don't forget that he was go kart champ and also gymkhana champ. He also did a few TGTC races....watch out when he is behind the wheel. By the way, that's a very rare Mondial you own krub....I never see one before.

K pong ,That's why I have to sleep............ This mondial t is the only one in thailand with original eletronic clutch and 348 engine. My car always have 2 seat extra for our team member who have troble with their pony. So, feel save during sprint! Image Unavailable, Please Login
I guess it's not too old because I just checked with my father about titles, and he has confirmed that you are definately an uncle to me, that's considering your father and my grandmother are brother and sister.
Ha ha ha.... yeh...may be it's better to close the eyes and don't register the pain...ha ha... Now, that 2 extra seats are very useful indeed krub. But I hope I don't have to use it during the sprint, but just for fun. I had a mechanic took the exhaust system out of the TR yesterday, and I had a good look at the suspension bushings... Most of them are worn out, dry, crack, and need replacing ASAP... No wonder I felt the car wondering a bit. I had the car checked out at Ferma after I bought it, but they never mention the condition of the bushings. Now, about the exhaust, I don't know how you guys feel about this, but I am having a shop in Bangkok doing an exhaust system for me... The result is pretty much unknow at this point. The last 2 piping work and exhaust system they did for me were very good, so I will have another go with them. It's so much cheaper that I think it's OK to try...ha ha.
Where did you have your exhaust done? Are you having them done the whole system? Headers, Cat. replacment pipe, and sport muffle? Make sure if they use Argon for pipe joining. I was not able to find a good one here yet. I have one done with WorkPower. Not very good. Crack a lot. Please let us know...
