I rec'd this months issue of GQ magazine, and there was a fashion extra type brochure in it, with an article on Rod Stewart, on the contents page it shows him sitting on top of an Enzo, (with his big foot propped on the side mirror !!!! what a shame.)

Anyone know if it's his car ?

no, i was standing next to one of my cars at my painters one day and we were standing there chatting and I just without thinking put my foot on the bumper to rest on, and my painter smacked my like a 12 year old, he said,
"Damn boy you need to respect a beaitful machine like this". hehehe

    I'll never forget that.

Yeah it's his, he was on one recent episode of cribs and it showed that and a Murci. It wasn't him doing the show though, his daughter did it. Sweet cars.

I often display my 355 at my town street fair as a favor to my local detailer who has a booth. Last time I had to chase kids away all day long who manhandled it, sit on it to pose for pictures, eat dripping ice cream while leaning into the car, etc. The last straw was one kid who tried to sit up on the door when the top was down. I was standing there with my cousin and we both screamed, "HEEYYY, if you want sit somewhere GET A CHAIR!" No more town fairs for me! Jeez.

I had some kids get in my car and knock it into neutral......

Their dad holding it from rolling down the sidewalk was the FUNNIEST thing I've ever seen.....

Yea. it's Rod's. Here's a News Flash for ya, about rich stars:

It's about status, not about the car. They don't care about the car.......

Glad to know i'm not the only one who gets angry at people when i see them leaning against a beautiful machine. There's one rap video where P. Diddy or someone is sitting on the hood of a Bentley with his foot on the bumper. I wanted to yell at him. He may be able to afford 50 of them, but they have a lot more class than he does and should be treated the way you treat a woman.

I would, but he the finest painter I have ever seen,

his brother went to work for him, and after a few months he finally let him paint a car by himself, his brother was beaming with pride !! Called for him to come out and look at it after he had it finished, his brother picked up a can of paint and poured it all over the car, from one end to the other, told him, "looks like sh** do it over"

His brother said it looked darn good too better than a factory job.

after that episode I figured he was good enough to paint anything I ever owned. ;)

too bad I can't get him into Fcars, he's stuck on Vettes.

The episode of Cribs in question with Rod Stewart's daughter did NOT feature an Enzo.....but a 550 (Barchetta?) in titanium. Rod also has a bright-red Murci.

I saw him when I was looking at the Gallardo at Lamborghini of beverly Hills. I was in the "bar area" in the back, and an INCREDIBLE blond came in the room to use a phone. I went out and there he was, sitting in a little chair kind of hidden.

As to him being cheap, I dunno. I will say rock musicians are many times cheap. They are struggling for so many years. It may be hard to break the habit. I sell tubes to pretty famous guitar players and don't give them ten cents off. The serrious amp collectors understand it and don't ask.
