    Hi Mike,
Just a thought here - - Sell the Spider, buy a t Cab. - - take the family to Italy for a vacation and have money left over for fun - - and drive the "family Ferrari" with all the Oldanis together. Think about it. The last paragraph of your post says it all. The little voice must be listened to, as it is 95% correct.
    Cheers, Hank

Great Car, I have a 84 mondial, and I just bought the 360 wheels, did you need different lugs for it.

How much power with the supercharger.

Hey Allan, nice car, did you ever have to do the window relay mod? if so, did it work for you, assuming you have the slow window syndrome?

Hey Russ (snj5), Hank here - and I was just looking at the profile pic of your beautiful 3.2 coupe. I find myself constantly more drawn to the way those 288 GTO looking wheels work in such harmony with the car. Who makes them and what are the sizes of the rubber? At this point in time, I have no intention of changing wheels but, if I did, I would follow your path.
    Cheers, Hank

    Hi Ron,

windows are slow alright but haven't done the modification yet. I try to 'exercise' the windows at least once a week. This has kept them functioning so far. However, the car has been in with my mechanic for the last six months sorting out a few problems so I hate to think what condition the window winding will be. Have you tried the modification yet?

Many thanks. Those are Ferrari OEM Speedline 17" X 7.5/8.5 with Michelin 225/50 and 245/45. The steering effort actually improved with the Michelins over 215/50 Bridgestone RE-71s.
    Good luck and have fun!

Wow. Unless it's got new ratios that means it spins to 9000+rpm with a blower.

Hi Russ: Do you remember where the wheels were purchased? Also did you require any spacers, etc or were you able to just throw them on?

    Thanks for the info, Hank

I got turned on to these wheels while stationed in Germany. They are a direct application for the Mondial from Speedline (Ferrari OEM) so the offsets are perfect and required no spacers. Very nice Ferrari centercaps and all.

While available from Speedline retailers, they were also sold through Ferrari Deutschland. In fact, in the Lehbrink/Schlegelmilch book on Ferrari there is a nice set of photos of a t cab with these wheels with a tag from Autohaus Ulrich ( Ferrari dealer in Frankfurt) who serviced my car while I was in Germany.

Due to a stateside re-assignment, I ordered them from Speedline America in Florida. Expensive and took a while to get, but IMHO also think they are the best wheel upgrade available for a Mondial as they were made by folks with access to the original Ferrari engineering data and were a dealer option. Had mine installed by FoW just to complete the circle. :)

I think Speedline America (SAC) or www.GaRedCars may still sell them.

Russ, Thanks so much for the wheel info. So far, It seems as the closest thing to yours, are the Mistrals. With your help, I can now finish researching and then go from there.
    Cheers, Hank
