I know this was posted ages ago but I just bought one after some deliberation...

I couldn't afford to wait for Exoto or BBR to come up with an F40.

The Hot Wheels one is apparently better than the Burago.

As it stands, it's certainly not bad for USD$30.

Nice weight, lots of metal, good stance, good general shape, spring loaded doors, tyres, wheels look wide.

Bad points are hopeless looking side windows, plastic looking and crude interior, over chromed wheels and engine, lack of very fine detail like missing rear grille badges.

Could be a lot worse IMO...

Where did you get the black wheels from? They look really nice on the F40. I would like to do the same to one of mine...

I got them from auto art models... I emailed asking them for the wheels as a replacement and they sent them to me free of charge.

    Sound like a smart man!

They look like Speedlines and go far in enhancing the look of the car.

The other way is to spray the stock wheels black or at least 'dark wash' them.
