Isn't the 308 Bolt Pattern the same as a 90's mustang or t-bird? 5x108 or something like that. The offsets are different I know. Thanks PS for you search nazi's, I checked and didn't find what I was looking for!
No, it's +11 (actually something like +11.2 and +11.45, slightly different front and rear, but I doubt a portion of a mm will make a noticeable difference!)
A weird fact here-- I did a CAD drawing of my hub when I made my brake rotors and the bolt hole diameter is dead on 4.25" however---if you measure how you are told in drawings 9 from tirerack and others) --from center of 1 hole to outside edge of 2nd bolt over you will get something closer to 4.33 inches. What to use? dont know... I am thinking about getting sometrack wheels for my car and I think I will just give them my CAD drawings and tell them to " match this".
Any measurement method involving the OD of the lug bolt/stud is just an approximation. For a 108mm bolt circle and a 14mm lugbolt, the method you describe (measuring in a straight-line from center of one to outside edge of 2nd over) will overestimate the 108 mm BC as 109.7mm The other method shown on the tirerack site (shown below) will underestimate a 108mm bolt circle using 14mm lugbolts as 104.7 mm For a better result on the 5-lug pattern, measure from the center of one bolt to the center of the 2nd bolt over and then multiply by 1.0515 to get the true BC.
