Thanks! Totally, I'll take more pics when I'm back next time. Just let me know what kind of close ups I should take. Hey try to avoid doing what I did, buying 2 of these things before selling one. In my case, I had no choice, time was of the essence.
i wouldn't bring the CS to college, you cant have nice things in college, too many jealous drunk people. Warren what part of NJ you from? i am 10 min from Utkarsh
Hey guys, I see that the AJ 6.0 is "out of the closet" so to say. ;-) Anyway, hope all is going with with you Guy and I see that you still have the two babies. I certainly think that you should ship one of them to LA so you can enjoy it out there. Especially since we are just about out of "Lambo" season here in NJ. Any chance that you'll be here this weekend? Quite a few things going on that you might want to join us on. It would be great to see you and of course one of the cars as well! As for you Mr. Uktarsh...come home and drive the CS. I think you would be lookin' for trouble if you brought it out to school with you. Just my .02, but in the end it's what you think that really matters. Here are some of the pics I took on my Treo... Hope you guys don't mind me adding some pics of the SE. Thanks a lot for letting me take them and thanks for the pic you took for me. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
wow, I really get around it looks like. I really like the SE, the interior is so cool. btw, the last pic makes me look like I can't park but the white sidewalk is actually the entrance to the garage I think, there's no curb there so don't worry I didn't put the nose up on the curb.
Warrenn thanks for the reply. With regard to your comment "without taking too much of a depreciation hit", do you feel that the 6.0s are not dropping as fast as the older VTs (94)? I had a feeling that the older VTs would be nearing the bottom of their depreciation curve at least for a while given that a Countach can cost 50k. I am not totally up to speed on the depreciation of Diablos so if someone can provide some insight I would very much appreciate it.
You can't buy a "nice" Countach for under 80k. The 91 Diablo's have bottomed out at around 85k, and a nice 94vt can be found in the 110 area. The 94's will eventually bottom out at low 100's, for a nice car. The 6.0's are regarded as "the best of the breed". They took a major hit when the Murci was introduced. In the last 6 months, there has been 0 depreciation on 6.0's, and really none for sale. They will of course go down more, but don't ever look for a real nice car below 145k, before they bottom out. You could buy a 6.0 for 170k right now, drive it for 5 years, and get probably 145k out of it. Not too bad. Some low mileage examples and the SE will not ever get that low.
Gorgeous cars! AJ, you must be terribly sad in parting with the 6.0! The best supercar ever made IMO!!!
can we have some group pictures of the 2 diablos and the 360 together please?! that'd be an amazing wallpaper or if you could email me some [email protected] i'd appreciate it
That's right, there were two colors, and only 20 made of each. The gold is called "Oro Elios" and the maroon is called "Marone Eclipses" (forgive me if I spelled that wrong). The gold car is somewhat a representation of an early sunrise and the maroon of a sunset. The maroon color will shift strange light patterns and change from a brown to dark red (very very cool). The gold looks absolutely spectacular in the right sunlight.
Um, i would be really nice in either one...!!! Very nice twins you have there; how you decide which to drive is beyond me; gold one with the black wheels is stupendous; i would love to see more pictures of that one...
Nice cars.My 6.0 is not an SE but still has a reverse lockout. It will not go unless I push the stick down before reverse. Joe
