Malcom: Of course the picture was taken the day you gave me the most memorable tour of your great facility!! It would be really amazing if a deal could be reached with you two--a guy from my home town combined with a souvenir from our UK trip. Mark
as to the 308 and 328 differences-- the 308 and 328 blocks are similar but not the same. the 328 will bolt up to a 308 tranny but the crank is slightly longer and the oil "out" hole is a lot bigger. You CAN put a 328 block into a 308 but you need to modify a few things--kinda a pain--but worth it--my car runs a lot stronger now.
Now am I the only one in here that picked up on the A/C compressor--looks like a Sanden conversion to me--and a very nicely done one too.
That is stock on Euro cars Atlantaman. I priced all those brackets from Ferrari_UK so I could make mine look more stock and it was about $400. I elected to got with the $50 part and make my own modifications to it. Malcom, how long, exactly, is that belt on the AC Compressor? I know you have it in stock (PN 124108). If it's the correct length, I can use it on my conversion and get my tensioner pulley back on. Thanks Sean
Sean, The a/c belt, part number 124108 is a Gates plexy belt, part number 11M875, which translates to 11mm wide and 875mm long.
