I'm posting this for a friend of mine who is selling this beautiful Modena (he picked up a GT3 instead). Feel free to contact me with any questions or if you're interested (I also have some scans). I posted the car in the Ads section, but would obviously like to see the car go to an "EC Playa" and if not, then definitely an F-chatter.

Hey bro...I would say sure if it were my 360 to play with. Unfortunately it isn't and I don't think he'll want to mess with it...

Sounds like a great car. Let's hope one of Da Playas 'll man up and put this in the EC collection!

Sticker on this one is approx. $166k with options. Car originated at Continental Motors in IL. I just got back froom taking a very close look at it (I want to be sure that it's in tip top shape before recommending it to an EC playa). When I tell you it's mint, this car is literally brand new down to the mirror black finish. Not even a minor swirl mark on this one...

Hey, the market will bear, what the market will bear, right.

I guess so, but if you think about it...after taxes and fees you are close to the asking price. In the end, the price is whatever someone is willing to pay I guess? Then again, if you want a new one like this you will have to wait for an F430 (good luck) or pay a little extra.

Don't get me wrong - I'm not chastising. I just find it mildly amusing that a car that's been in production for five years still commands a premium over MSRP. I guess that's why there is such a rush to get on the F430 list. ;-)

Like we're both saying, the market will be the final arbiter. Good luck to your friend.

Thanks Vik and I agree with your train of thought here. It's amazing that a car like the 360M that has been produced in the numbers that it has still demands such a premium. Then again...it is a Ferrari. :)

that's how the game is played vik.
once you are in the network, if you are able to swing a spot in the early yrs of the productions run, you can keep trade-in/flip without losing anything.

doubt it will work on a 5 yrs old car, so i do not believe the seller can get his purchase price with sales tax back. in another words i don't see a buyer at $179k. maybe 160k is a more realistic price.

Werd up. Forget "without losing anything," you'll actually come out quite a bit ahead of you're on the list early on and flip it. Unfortunately, Keith has been busy schmoozing CC and FoCNJ, and as a result, been awarded early allocation spots for the F430 from both, leaving no spots for me. :(

    (Just kidding K-Dawg).
