    i am going to remove my four wheels for refinishing. where do you place jackstands on the 308. don't want to damage it. thanks, steve

    As close as you can to the lower A-arm attachment points to the frame.

    There are even color diagrams on the "Search Ferrarichat Archives". You'll find discussion of wheel stickers, too. That would be different search terms, though. ;)

    Yep, that's how I do it too. There's a thread on here somewhere describing a tripod stance for jack stands and the 308, but I'd never trust that setup.

    There was also a thread a while back where one of the F-chatters built a drive up home garage ramp out of stacked 1 x 10's. He also included the drawing for build; unfortunatley I cannot find the thread or I would post.
    Maybe someone else has it at their fingertips.
