Another thread of a super-garage... (not as nice as Steve G.'s, but still quite interesting collection of cars). This is my friend Michael's garage (which many of the F-Chatter's visited before). He's got a Vector W8 (1 of 17 made), 620hp TechArt Porsche Turbo, GTX, Vette... (and had a Ferrari 360 Spider and a Lambo Diablo VTTT conversion in the garage before).
I got in trouble with that 620hp TechArt Porsche Turbo before... heheh... I got pulled over by Huntington Beach P.D. for "exhibition of speed"... that was fun! (and also didn't have ID with me).
True... but he's getting there! His Vector was featured in the Automobile Magazine (Aug '04) issue. The following are pictures from the photo shoot, and a very special picture that never made the cut (my favorite). Thanks Tony for his amazing photography!!!
Hi Patrick, From looking @ the speeding ticket, Did HBPD wrote you down for 40 on 35 MPH limit? If that's the case, It's Bull Sh**. They got you because the type of car you drive regardless of any speed.
They actually got me for doing 25-35mph in the 40mph zone. How did that work? I did a HUGE burnout with the Porsche... (not a smart thing to do...) How did the cop find out? He was sitting behind me the whole time. (Yeah, I was dumb... I know...) By the way, I went to the Westminster Sup. Court, and the D.A. dropped the charge. I used "driver error" as an excuse.
Patrick thats amazing, between your friends, you have access to just about every amazing rare exotic on the planet! Cizeta, Vector, Koenigsegg, Pagani, Saleen not to mention Lamborghini, Ferrari and Porsche. geez how the hell do you figure out who you want to hang with! tough life hey.
Do you have more info on this car ? I tracked down 17 out of the 19 existing VECTOR W8´s and organized last year´s VECTOR reunion at the Concorso. Agassi´s VIN 014 is actually one of the two missing VECTOR W8s. I know it was for sale at the Auto Panache, FL at one time. Any info is appreciated. (My VECTORfiles website: www.drive.to/vector)
Actually he was not supposed to drive the car at all since the car had not been finished yet. But he insisted to have it trailered to his house while he was throwing a big party. A few hours later he called up the factory that the car had overheated when he had taken it for a spin nonetheless. No wonder ! So he returned the car and it was updated to the later styling cues and sold again by the Auto Panache in Florida in 1998. Someone took pics of the car in Nov 2002 at a Houston dealership. Now I hope to find it back for the next Vector reunion in Monterey. here is a picture: http://www.vectoraeromotiveclub.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.pl?board=w8_cat;action=display;num=1098791768
Nice to see you taking credit for all my efforts of organizing the concorso event with the Vector W8's. There is a reason I do not converse with leaches like yourself.
okay, that made me laugh big time,,,,and I needed a good laugh thanks darth550 no wonder the pic didn't come up LMAO !
This page has some of the pictures of the garage (somewhere in the middle of the page) http://www.patrickshim.com/PatrickShim_Personal_AutoSocial.htm Yeah, this is a really old thread. I was surprised to see it surface again.
