    Tickets cost £285.
    Is this for real?

Carbon are you going to play? You win a red Enzo but you could always repainted in black. ;)

Yeah could be a scam but I have a feeling its not.
It would be nice to see a F-chatter winning this car.

That is such a good idea. If they sell all 3500 tickets they will make more then 700,000 pounds.

The Alfa Romeo Owner's Club of Australia has been doing this for years. Previous prizes have included TRs, Diablo's, 355s, etc. All profits go to a different charity each year.

Easiest way to check if something like this is legit is to ask for the tax exemption details held by most legitimate charities.

Yes you are correct. The club is well known for doing such things.
Mind you, ive dealt with a few cases of dodgy charities.... Its appauling that i even had to do that....

If they don't sell all the tickets, then no one wins - that's how they make their money - all the tickets need to be sold, first...

Tony, that link doesn't really say how it's legit - did i miss something...?

    Carbon,
we have a number of companies in the UK that operate this kind of game. You first buy the ticket , then enter a "spot the ball" competion to win the prize. You normally find these offers at airport lounges. As has been pointed out, if all tickets are sold the selling company makes nearly a £mill .....

at $520 USD per ticket, I'd buy a few myself if I could verify it really is legit.

Anyone ever flown out of or into Heathrow in London? They have all the cars (usually about 4) in the terminal and tickets sold on the spot. Same thing as this, but you get to see the car.

i checked these guys out as i am a lawyer before my bf played

the company is officially registered in the UK, they have a VAT number, the managing director is a chartered accountant, the lawyers are legit and the referrees association (the guys that refereee matches between liverpool, manchester united, chelsea etc) are actually involved! that is why my bf then bought a ticket

they only launched about 4 days ago.

this week, i am trying to win a free ticket in autocar. by answering 'a' that the test track is fiorano, you get entered into a chance to win one of 10 enzo tickets and if not then possibly 1 of 20 mini tickets

i also don't think they will make as much money as we all think. in the uk between VAT tax and credit card charges, that takes a whopping 22.5% out of the ticket sales already and i am sure hte lawyers and the referees association are not coming cheaply.

i really hope someone here wins it so we all get to ride in it!
