We should do a "Guess Jimmy's Net Worth Thread", and he can post pictures of everything bling that he owns.
Is that measured right after a paycheck or the day before? Oh here's one that fits zero - $250,000. Somewhere in there usually yah. And what is this sudden discussion about jimmy540. No offense to Jimmy (in fact much props are in order), but car-loving billionares don't mention 540s unless they want the color for their M5s.
LOL... who knows, maybe if there were a "Billionaire Next Door" we'd be surprised to find out that they just buy F-250's instead of F-150's, and Sables instead of Tauruses...
Likely a billionaire would see no more value in a Sable than a Taurus. I understand Warren Buffett drives a 1972 Olds or similar.
I'd be surprised, he seems like a Caddy guy. The billionaire founder/CEO of Ikea apparently drives a 10yr-old Volvo.
Hmm... I think this thread isn't that bad, it's just not AMAZINGLY AWESOME of an idea. Oh well. Can't you liars be more creative? Billionaires? Pfft... lie about your wealth by putting in 250-500mil, be the first to do so! BTW I voted truthfully as well. Net worth includes house and cars and all that stuff right? And savings etc? Unfortunately a lot of the wealth came from a life insurance payout...
Yeah - a 72 Olds on 22k Day-Days, with 16 switches, ostrich pimp seats, a platinum disco ball, cashmere dingleberries, and 22k gold-flake paint. It's a real g-ride.
C'mon guys lighten up, it's a great thread if people would relax a bit. Personally I'm not intimidated by someone anonymously posting their wealth, you'd have to be pretty insecure for that to scare you. I find it quite fascinating to learn of the variety of people on board. But no, I don't believe we have any Billionaires. Sorry. Wes
HAHA I want to see these billionaires driving around in their old pickup trucks and dumpy old american cars before I believe anything.
i saw red mccombs the other day worth a billion or so he was still driving his old style s mercedes 2 door. Was just wondering do billionairs pay cash or finance their cars, what do yall think. john
Cash of course! In terms of financial impact, a new $100k car, even to the poorest billionaire, is what buying a $100 - $200 product is for an upper middle class family (i.e. net worth $1-2million).
For a billionaire, compared to someone making $65k/year, buying an Enzo is akin to buying an $18 shirt... My net worth? Slightly less than Bangladesh, of course!
I wonder how many actual real billionaires are on here? I put down that I was a billionaire but I'm not; suspect a few others did as well.
There's only a few hundred billionaires in the world so I doubt that they came across this thread and voted on here.
I would wager the number of invididuals reading fchat in the $1bil range (it's surprisingly easy to go from 800mil to 1.2B and back again.) are more than 1, but less than 10.
Why can't you afford to clean your pool every once in a while? I'm sick of rich people like that that blow your money on something you can't even maintain.
