    after seeing how a "stock" Ferrari 5 star wheel cracks and comes apart first hand, i find it hard to believe those wheels could have survived the race track abuse with that much material removed from the wheels.
    heck i hope someone with the answers comes along, as i would be curious to know as well. best.
