    I have an 1982 308 and need a working drivers side window actuator. Anyone have any ideas? I'm thinking that new will be way too much $. The unit says Fiat on it with the words Whitehead Motofides.

    If your looking for just the motor G Evans (I think) is always selling them on e-bay $150 a pair. I actually have a pair that I may some day install in the windows.

    Sorry guys for the misunderstanding. What I'm looking is the drivers side door lock actuator. This is the small black box approx. 5"x3" in size and is located in the lower rear part of the door. It has a plug with for prongs coming off it. It is a sealed unit and mine has a short internally.

    Now we have this "window actuator" thread that actually discusses electric door lock solenoids.........

    "Moderator, clean up on Aisle 12!" LOL!

    I saw all those electric window motors in the Friday Pics, though. ;)

    They are 'ready' when ya need 'em!
