F-chat should keep the P&R section open. If you go to other internet forums they have places where you can talk about other things than what the site is specifically devoted to. It would be a mistake to get rid of a popular sub-forum just because some people can't get along. F-chat should add an entertainment section where people can discuss movies, music, video games ECT. This is one of the best forums i've been to. It makes the forum more intresting to have a diverse amount of sub-forums so people can talk about different things.

Once again guys, I can't help escape the fact that you want to ban P&R because you don't like what is being said. Where I come from, this is called censorship.

I'll admit that I have made some posts in the P&R hotbed to try and set an example about how you can debate without personal attacks. This is how communities evolve and grow. We as the community are the ones who set the standards for behavior, not Rob.

I don't go to the Bonkers and EC threads because, well, I find them boring. I don't mean to offend anybody, but it's not my thing. However, I don't care what goes on in those threads. After all, this is the Internet.

Moreover, if the rule becomes that all posts on FC can only be about cars and Ferraris, this will turn into a very boring place. Think about it, FC is a better place due to the Tony's daily jokes that have nothing to do with Ferraris. Should we ban his jokes? (I say that we should only ban the bad ones.)

Come on guys. The world is a big old place. Surely there is enough room for everybody on FC, isn't there?

Strangely, I feel the exact same thing.

    And actually, I resent it.

    Exactly.

Kind of like about two hundred other car forums?

Don't bet the farm on that resonating over there. :)

I guarantee you that the number of those who voted to eliminate the forum represent the left wing in the majority.

Thanks for everyone's great feedback, that's why I posted it. The council has spoken! :)

We'll leave everything as is. I hope that after the election things settle down a little with Politics. November 3rd I'm posting "Creationalisim vs. Evolution?" :D:D:D

In awhile we might start looking at modifying our moderation, but nothing new right now.
