We should all go to the track and have a post of best lap times posted by everyone from the EC crew see how we all rank against eachother.

i still think my idea of going around manhattan: westside highway-fdr-westside highway at 5 in the morning is a great idea.

Bashing aside -- do you guys do any track days? SCDA or BMWCCA? My track of choice right now is NHIS (it's the closest), but I am excited to hit LRP and Watkins some more, not to mention I've never been to Poccono.

I'm dating myself, but when I was 18 (a decade ago) it was not uncommon for organized street racing to occur on the HHP (starting by the toll) --> WSH.

Anyway if anybody races, as spring approaches, please post your schedule would love to meet up for some track events!

Please don't use phrases like "I'm dating myself" when you are only 28. Some of us here are almost old enough to be your dad - LOL. Track days would be fun, looking at doing some autocrossing in my TVR next year, now that I've made some suspension upgrades.

Sorry grandad ;) That was my clever way of figuring out where I fall on the age spectrum.

Autoxing is ok, but on the track is where it's atm (see pyramid of speed below http://www.nsxfiles.com/Pyramid_of_speed.htm)!

Either way keep me posted to any DE you guys attend, I need to get back into the scene one in the city.

I think you fall right into the middle here at FChat. My only thought on tracking my car is it is a street car not a race car - quite heavy at 3300 lbs. However, it would be fun to get out there and do some hot laps w/o looking in the mirror for the flashing lights. LRP would be great. It's too bad they tore up Bridgehampton, a buddy and I use to see the Ferrari club do events there years ago, EMRA also had track days there. Hope to meet you one day.
