This past Saturday, I autocrossed the '84 Mondial QV in a slalom event (around the cones) run by our local Jaguar club. Looking at some pictures taken by one of the gang, I see that I'm getting a considerable amount of body roll. I already knew from the couple of track days that I've done that the car needs some upgrade in the suspension.

Has anyone done shocks/springs/ARB upgrades to a Mondial? If so, what did you use and who did you get it from? I've been following the discussion on the 308 suspension issues and upgrades, but I don't know if the same things will work for the Mondial. I'm also interested in looking at brake upgrades for the car as well. Any suggestions on that front would be appreciated as well.

You might also have a look at those 20 year old suspension bushings
    when you freshen up everything.

Yes - I went to coil over adjustable Konis that allowed me to go to stiffer Eibach springs and lower my Mondial. I went to stiffer rear bias to dial out some of the understeer. Check the archives here where I posted some photos. I also added rear spacers based on Lou Menditto's Mondial racing experience. I used Tate Casey at Carobu. great guy.

Although you will get differing opinions, I also upgraded to drilled Brembo discs and s/s braided brake lines that give a tighter feel.

    Have fun!

Nice Website, but no one answering the phone today! :)

Perhaps a stock replacement, but to be clear, Koni does not make a coil over adjustable height shock application for a Mondial of any ilk. I just called Koni in Houston again and checked. I believe that modifications need to made to the Mondial removable top mounting plate to accept a height adjustable application.
    best to all
