Worst thing in the world: Semi-waking up and while lying in a blissful dozy slumber, you suddenly realize it's actually Monday and not Saturday like you thought.

Nothing is worse than BEING the moron who screwed up driving (face it, we all do it once in a while) and then trying to give a little wave to communicate that you know you are at fault, and that you are owning up to it, and that you are sorry...

It ALWAYS is percieved by the other driver that you are trying to blame THEM, and then they end up making retarded faces and flipping you off...

Why is there no universal signal for "my bad!" ?

There's nothing worse than thinking you are alone in bed when you wake up in the middle of the night and attempt to raise the totem with your girlfriend's teddy bear in one hand and a copy of Elle in the other.

having a pancake in front of you with a big dob of ice-cream in the middle... you then pop a scoop of the ice-cream in your mouth, notice it's not as cold as you expected, then as you go to chew/swallow, realize it's actually whipped butter. :(

...also, there's half a dozen werkmates sitting at the table who have been to this pancake parlour before...

Starting at a new school where the cafeteria has an open bowl of sugar with a little teaspoon at the cereals section, and you proceed to dollop on a few spoonfuls over your Weetbix, while your new friends watch and giggle as you take your first bite of wheat coated with salt. Who puts salt in a serving dish anyway!?

Probably the most painful of all those previous listed. Wow. I can only imagine your reaction. We bet my friend 11 bucks last year he couldn't keep a huge chunk of that stuff in his mouth for 1 minute, he did 15 seconds but even that was worthy of about 4 bucks.
