How this situation can even occur is bewildering.. This genre of car should be constantly treated with the respect that it deserves at all times, and for such an incident to take place obviously involves a degree of foolishness on the drivers behalf..?

I would not deal with these people under any circumstance. Like Tony has said there are many very bad stories about them and I personally know somebody who was completely screwed over by the owner and is still owed significant sums of money.

As for the cold calls, just mention the Data Protection act and ask to see all the information they have about you on their database, which you are legally entitled to see. Should get rid of them pretty quickly.

Yep, I know very little about Ferrari, but could tell the cars were piles of poo at See Red.

Noticed they had a 993 turbo for sale too in the last six months, and the price they were asking for it seemed silly also.

Maybe you fervent Ferrari owners should storm the place at night with blazing lanterns in hand, and debunk the rascals. After seeing that picture of Tea Are in the other thread with the wig on, he should go first, and they'll think the West Side Boys have landed.

This ridiculous gossip reminds me why I stopped logging onto this site. I have no affiliation with Rosso Corsa except for buying a black F355 Berlinetta with handling pack a few months ago. You may be interested to know that the car remains a superb example and, bought at the correct market price, I only have praise for Mr Lukins and the transparency of the deal he brokered with my purchase of this car. I have noticed that the USA sections of this site are far more interesting, dealing as they do with fact and technical issues rather than the vapid speculations indulged by many (but not all) on the UK section. Yes, please have a go at me, but bear in mind that I probably won't read what you say!

Come along on some of our London / SE ride-outs and meet the gang ! :) You will see this website is actually much better than you think, cause its full of really genuine people with genuine experiences
    :)

We don't have many black cars on the rideouts, so would be good to see your car.

    Cheers

Thanks. That's a very nice reply. I will try my best to come along and meet you all. I do appreciate that website words (not yours!) often convey a false impression.

I have Used everyone to service and carry out repairs on various Ferrari,s
Without exception they are pretty much the same.If anyone on this forum thinks they have had the deal of a lifetime they are mistaken. At the end of the day they are ALL second hand car salesman. Their only goal is to sell you a car.I have been an active member of the Ferrari ownersclub for 10 years plus, I have storys on everyone without exception, letting customers cars out to other customers, damage in workshops, use of sets of wheels and tyres at trackdays, lying, cheating you name it they have done it.
After all my experiences i chose RossaCorsa to assist in the sale of my two
Ferraris. I must confess the main reason is geographical, I am able to pop in and discuss interest in my cars for sale.
Since my cars have been for sale I have recieved 3 phone calls from 3 london based "independant" Ferrari specialist they all slag off each other. People posting on this thread have contacted me and questioned me as to why I chose RossoCorsa.Better the devil you know I say.Richard Lukins Builds in a sum of money wereby you are able to "negociate" alterations to the car,
Personal requirements, ie sports exhaust, tyres, uprated brakes, this is were if anywhere negociation can achieve an element of getting a reasonable deal.
I am in full agreement with exchange of infomation on dealers but some of the accusations on this thread are border line libel. I have my own long established business and satisfied and sometimes disatified customers. In "balance" I know many people

    Sorry my key board froze!

I know many people who are both buyers and sellers of Ferrari who are more than satisfied with Rosso Corsa. Often the prices requested are governed by the seller Rosso Corsa acting as an agent. Most Ferrari "second hand car sales" dictate lower prices for quicker sales.Nearly all sales work off a set %.

As ever, we have split opinion on RC. There are 2 satisfied custys on here and there are others who have heard the stories, seen the quality of the stock offered for sale and declined to do any biz with them . That's how it should be. One member asked what the prob with RC was and the perception of how they do biz is in this thread. Of course , it's up to you as an individual to make you're own choice. I think the thread has run it's course.
