race gearbox on ebay

Hey guys check this out. I know the guy who made this box and he is an awesome mechanic. If I had a 308....I'd buy. it...it is on ebay now. One of you 308 guys has got to buy this. How about the guy with the 308 turbo?

Now THAT would be fun! I just need to expand my garage for the "blip the throttle turn-arounds"! Let's see....If I could get my wife to pull some OT shifts....

This is a race box only. Many racers have no reverse and no parking brake. Didn't Mke Mark Eberhart on this list make the supercharged 308? He needs this gearbox!!! I know the man who built it and he is the real deal. There are not many I would hand my keys to and Joe San Paolo is one of them.

 

Does sound great..I wonder what other goodies these guys have got!

How much money do you have? I have seen Joe take a 308 and do the 348 inlining of the motor and gearbox long before that job got popular. I have seen awesome multidisc race clutches and cut out flywheels as well as bread and butter general repair. Joe is awesome. There use to be this guy Theiler. He was a legend in his own mind and a nice guy RIP. He was right next door to Joe. There was unspoken competition between the two. Theiler would machine all knids of *****in looking stuff and do some high HP things mostly to 308's like flaming red powder coated valve covers and red powder coated springs, old school giant pistons but with little testing. Joe on the other hand did more quiet high HP and suspension things but test the crap out of them to really find what works. Joe's "flash" was creative genius. Customers who knew cars appreciated joe's work. He is always talking about going testing at Willow Springs our local race track. Joe absolutely proves what he does. Theiler was more Bling...all show but did it go?

 

It caught my attention but i need a reverse gear for street use. Thanks for thinking of me if it was me your referrring too.
